    • Financial and operational transformation of businesses in crisis. Successfully transformed a 1,000 unit retail leisure business from being wholly managed to wholly tenanted and improving its value by 12% in 12 months
  • Stakeholder management
    • Positively managing relationships for the benefit of business. Successfully managed the interface between internal management and external parties (such as investors, banks, accountants, lawyers , property agents and pension advisers) in many businesses
  • Financial and business planning
    • Delivery of strategic reviews, identifying practical business solutions in the context of market opportunities and constraints
  • Corporate governance
    • Main board experience of large businesses (for example a £220 million profit multi site (4,000 plus units) leisure business owned by private equity)
    • Strong internal audit and financial control principles
    • Chairman and trustee of defined benefit pension schemes
